Covid 19 has taken its toll on our cruising but finally
 its back to Alaska and 3000 miles of pictures!





Took a day trip from Victoria on the Honda
Big Ruckus to the amazing Malahat Skywalk & Slide!

         



Our next stop is Saltspring Island and a VERY empty marina!?!
We took the motor cycle to the Mount Maxwell Lookout even with
some smoke a spectacular view! Lori taking a siesta on the beach
of the Ruckle Heritage Farm. Then a stop at St. Paul Catholic
Church constructed in1880 and located by Fulford harbor. I never
 thought I'd see it but here's a SOLAR powered dog!!!

Morning Coffee on anchor in Khutz Inlet. A morning
kayak and a mama grizzle and her cubs having a bite of
breakfast on the river side. Lori spots mama bear later having
a rest on an overhanging log.
In spite the fact that mama
grizzle's cubs were only a few feet away she was obviously
unimpressed with us kayakers taking pictures....
 
It must have been a exhausting day with the kids!!

A day kayak in Kumealon Narrows and another Bella inuksuk.
The beautiful Green Island Lighthouse just off Dundas Island on our
way to Ketchikan. The Bella parked at City Docks in downtown Ketchikan.
Our favorite bubble tea served on the cruise ship docks. A day trip around
Ketchikan on the Big Ruckus with a stop at Starbucks and a viewpoint
above town. A visit from a pod of Pacific White Sided Dolphins on
our way to Wrangell.


         

      



Arriving at Wrangell from Zimovia Strait. The 4th of July
parade festivities. The world famous mud pie at the
 Stikine Inn! "Air conditioning" at the Wrangell airport. A great
view of Wrangell then Ketchikan from the air. Back at the
lake house for William's 4th birthday.

celebration! A rare cloudless view of Ketchikan on our flight back to Wrangell.
A motorcycle tour of Petersburg and the fisherman's memorial. The ice and
waterfalls of Tracy Arm Glacier. On our way to Juneau, An ice burg in the
middle of Stephens Passage some 50 miles from the face of the glacier.


         

     



 The welcoming committee to Juneau are SIX cruise ships!
We take our cruise buddies to the Mendenhall glacier,
then to the Red Dog Saloon for a round or two of "duck farts"!
The crew at the summit of Glacier Gardens.The DIPAC salmon
hatchery packed returning salmon. Juneau's FABULOUS
waterfront park. The Bella and crew at the Intermediate Docks.

Fresh frybread what a treat! The crew ready to board the White
Pass Railroad for a trip up to the summit and Canada.  Proof positive

The Bella anchored in Portage Bay and a REAL downpour! Back to
Wrangell and another mud pie. Waiting out a Clarence Strait gale
in Meyers Chuck, on the way to Ketchikan.

We had a perfect weather window and traveled from Meyers Chuck
to Prince Rupert, bypassing Ketchikan! We anchored in Phillips cove
 with a beautiful night view of the Prince Rupert cargo port. The next
day we parked at the Cow Bay Marina. The SeaNile with
Milbanke Sound in the background on our way to Shearwater.
Tim Horton's Tim Bits- now your talkin my language! At anchored
in Fury Cove, a great anchorage for timing the passage around
Cape Caution. Back to the lake house and tubing with the family.
An AMAZING Gig Harbor sunset to end the summer.
